KITSCH SIGNS

As you may have detected, I love things from the 50s, 60s and 70s... especially gaudy home decor. There's nothing like a good, vintage novelty sign to make your guests chuckle or question your taste in design. Here are some great kitsch signs I found on etsy this week. About the collection: ALL of the pastries were obtained from an ORIGINAL lithograph printed in the EARLY 1900s in France that I purchased and then scanned at a very high resolution. The purpose of the lithograph was to catalogue some of the delicious types of pastries that were for sale at the time. Bakers would use these images as a guide. Each is EXACTLY as they originally appear, with the exception of the decorative border I added.

Loaded with tiny details, these prints are truly a work of art... and history!!

All prints measure: 8x10 inches

ABOUT MY ACRYLIC NECKLACES:
each necklace is one-of-a-kind and takes 1 hour to create!!

each pendant is "cooked" in a high-pressure HOTTTT pot. they come out rough, until they are ground and polished to perfection.

why acrylic?
because it's LIGHTER and more DURABLE than resin. also, very rarely are there air bubbles embedded in the pendant. these pendants are virtually indestructible and will last a lifetime!!
